Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): CPI(M) leader and Kulgam MLA Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has condemned the reported attack on a Srinagar-bound passenger bus in Haryana, terming the incident unfortunate.

In a statement, Tarigami said a passenger bus travelling from Delhi to Srinagar was allegedly attacked with bricks and stones in Haryana on Saturday night, leaving an elderly passenger injured and causing damage to the vehicle.

Tarigami urged the government to take up the matter with its Haryana counterpart and seek strict action against those responsible.

He also called on the authorities to take necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. (KNS)
