Sopore, Oct 11 (KNS): Neha Jain, IPS, on Sunday assumed charge as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sopore, succeeding Iftkhar Talib, JKPS.
Upon her arrival at the District Police Headquarters in Sopore, Jain was received by senior police officers and presented with a Guard of Honour.

She also emphasised zero tolerance towards drug abuse and anti-social activities, reaffirming her commitment to maintaining peace, law and order and ensuring security across the police district.
Jain said public grievance redressal would remain a key priority, while officers of Police District Sopore welcomed her and assured full cooperation in maintaining peace and harmony.
