Jammu, Oct 09 (KNS): Northern Railway's Jammu Division has cancelled four trains scheduled to depart on October 9 due to anticipated severe road traffic congestion around New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations on October 10.
According to a press release issued by the Jammu Division, the cancelled trains include Train No. 12446, scheduled to depart Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 7:50 pm; Train No. 04082 at 9 pm; and Train No. 22462 at 11:25 pm, all operating between Katra and New Delhi.
The Railway Administration said the cancellations would apply to services departing from their originating stations on October 9.
Passengers have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly. Help desks have been established at important railway stations, while information is being disseminated through public announcement systems.
Passengers can also check the latest train status through Railway Helpline 139 or the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app, the release said.(KNS)
