Speakers at the conference noted that the Hakak brothers’ decision reflects the Islamic principles of sacrifice, charity, and service to society. They recalled that charitable endowments (waqf) have historically laid the foundation of schools, mosques, welfare centres, and public services in the Islamic world. In Kashmir too, families in the past have donated land and property to establish schools and orphanages, providing education and shelter to thousands of children.
The event concluded with special prayers for the prosperity of the Hakak family and the success of Jamiat Ahlihadith’s mission in Jammu and Kashmir.
