SRINAGAR, May 8 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir is experiencing cloudy weather with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in many parts of the Jammu region and a few areas in Kashmir.
According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light to moderate rain, thundershowers, and gusty winds from May 8 to 11.
People are advised to follow official traffic and safety guidelines. Boating and Shikara rides in Dal Lake, Wular Lake, and other water bodies should be avoided during bad weather or strong winds.
Heavy showers in some areas may also trigger landslides or mudslides, especially in hilly regions.
From May 13, day temperatures are expected to rise significantly, especially in the Jammu Division. (KNS)
