Srinagar April 28 (KNS) : Former MLA Pahalgam and General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir expressed greif on demise of retired Principal Degree College Baramulla Prof M.A Lone who passed away after a brief spell of illness at Housing Colony Rawalpora Srinagar.
Expressing sympathy with the family members, Mir prayed for peace to the departed soul and endurance to the family members to bear the irreparable loss.
Terming the demise as a personal loss, Mir said Lone was a man of principles who's contribution in the filed of literature would be forever remembered. His demise is a big loss for the literature community.
"The demise of Lone came as a shock to me, with his willpower to stand for justice and empowerment, his contributions in the filed of education would be forever cherished. In this time of loss, I stand with the family members of the deceased and I would pray for peace to the departed soul," Mir said.(KNS)
