Bandipora, July 24 (KNS) : The Office of the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Bandipora, has issued a stern circular warning employees against unauthorised absences and violations of workplace discipline, including improper leave procedures and non-compliance with the prescribed dress code.
The warning comes in the wake of a surprise inspection conducted by the Medical Superintendent, during which several employees were found absent from their duties without prior approval or official intimation.
Describing the conduct as a serious breach, the circular cites Rule 11(i) of the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964, which mandates government servants to maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty. The notice warns that any further such lapses may invite disciplinary action under Rule 17-A of the CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972.
“All leave applications must now be submitted through the proper administrative channel, namely through the concerned Establishment or Administrative Office,” the circular states.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt clearly outlines that leave requests sent via informal means such as WhatsApp, SMS, email, or verbal communication will not be entertained, in line with Rule 3(1)(ii) of the CCS (Conduct) Rules, emphasising promptness and adherence to official procedures.

The circular stresses that employees must adhere to the prescribed uniform and maintain workplace decorum.
