New Delhi May 10 (KNS): India has issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating that any future terror attack with cross-border links will be treated as an act of war and met with a decisive response.
This warning comes amid a series of drone and missile attacks from Pakistan over the past three nights, targeting both military and civilian areas in northern India. Most of the attacks were successfully intercepted by India’s air defence systems.
The heightened tensions follow the brutal killing of 26 tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam two weeks ago by terrorists linked to Pakistan. In retaliation, India launched precision missile strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) under Operation Sindoor.
Pakistan responded by escalating the situation, targeting Indian civilian areas with drones. Intelligence sources say these attacks further expose the deep involvement of the Pakistan Army, especially the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in aiding terror groups operating from PoJK.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Indian officials revealed that several terror camps are located near Pakistani military facilities, indicating deliberate protection. There have also been multiple instances of terrorists using Pakistani army infrastructure for cover and accessing restricted zones freely.
Despite repeated international calls, Pakistan has failed to dismantle these terror networks, which India sees as active collaboration rather than mere tolerance.
India's revised rules of engagement now classify bombings, shootings, hijackings, and cyber, chemical, or biological attacks as acts of war if linked to terror groups supported by Pakistan. Attacks on government or military institutions will trigger a strong military response.
India is also working to expose Pakistan’s double standards on global platforms, highlighting how its army presents a responsible image abroad while secretly backing violent extremist groups.(KNS)
