Director Information Reviews SANJY Arrangements, Stresses Seamless Coordination

Srinagar May 20 (KNS): Director Information, Jammu and Kashmir, Nitish Rajora, chaired a meeting at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Srinagar, to review preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY).

The meeting focused on logistical arrangements, including installation of public address systems (PAS), staff deployment, and a detailed media and publicity plan. The Director emphasized early and foolproof arrangements to ensure smooth functioning at all designated stations.

Rajora stressed the need for seamless coordination among staff and instructed timely installation of PAS, hoardings, banners, and other publicity materials at identified locations.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe directed that all arrangements be completed in advance to avoid any inconvenience during the Yatra.

Officials briefed the Director on the current status of preparations, including availability of staff, equipment, and station facilities, in line with previous years' practices. He also underlined the importance of effective publicity to disseminate essential information to the pilgrims.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Headquarters Vivek Puri, Joint Director Kashmir Syed Shahnawaz Ahmad Bukhari, Joint Director Jammu Deepak Dubey, Deputy Directors, District Information Officers, and other concerned officials.(KNS)
