Salvation Movement Chairman, Zaffer Akbar Bhat Monday paid glowing tributes to martyrs of July 13 of 1931, who raised voice against Dogra atrocities and sacrificed their lives.
In a statement, Party spokesman quoting Bhat said, “Ongoing freedom struggle is itself reaffirmation to the mission of martyrs whose sacrifices mark the beginning of the freedom movement. Since 1931, innocent Kashmiris have sacrificed their precious lives for the ongoing freedom struggle and it is our responsibility to accomplish their mission and continue peaceful political struggle till the goal of mission of martyrs is achieved.”
He said that Bhat was put under house arrest after attending Iftiar party of veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani at Hyderpora Srinagar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelBesides, condemning house detention of Bhat, the spokesman also condemned house detention of Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabir Ahmad Shah and other leaders. He also condemned the restrictions and imposition of undeclared curfew for foiling joint rally of Hurriayt leaders on the eve of martyr’s day and said that suppression and oppression can’t keep away Kashmiris from their ineligible right-right of self determination.
