Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNS): Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) president, Abdul Qayoom Wani on Thursday condemned the innocent civilian killings during search operation by security forces in Kulgam.
In a press statement issued to KNS, Wani said that civilian killings can never be justified and people involved in the killing be given strong punishment so that such incidents may not occur in future.
Wani said that innocent killings have shaken everybody and demanded an immediate independent judicial probe of the incident to punish the culprits.
He expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families and the injured ones and pellet victims.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Wani also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.
He also said that playing politics on the rape and murder case of Asifa by Bar association Jammu is highly shameful act and demanded condemnation from every corner irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion.
He also demanded stern action against the rapists and killers of Asifa.
Wani urged upon the Govt for immediate halt on the innocent killings in the state. (KNS)
