Banihal, Dec 02 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani presided over a meeting of active Congress workers and party delegates of Banihal block at party office here today.
The meeting was largely attended by workers of Banihal block
During his address to worker he said that Congress is a secular & democratic party & its ideology has maintained the secular character of our country. The progress of our state is main aim of our party. He mentioned that link between grass root workers & party office bearers are too strengthened. We should point out difficulties being faced by our masses & provide them relief by creating more avenues for becoming their helping hand in these hard times. Progress of our state is dependent on the empowerment of weaker section and their participation in all walks of life may it be Govt.
Workers from different Panchayats of Banihal block highlighted the view points and carry forward their suggestions for further strengthening of Party in the area.
Vikar Rasool urged upon the party cadre to get united in fighting for the justice to people of the area.
Various among others secretary Pradesh Congress committee Imtiyaz Ahmed Khanday and other prominent party leaders including Sarpanchs and other office bearer's also spoke on the occasion. (KNS)
