Jammu, Dec 25 (KNS): Senior Gujjar leader and MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed Expressed profound grief over the killing of a woman and her minor son by a VDC member in Deevan Mohalla of Budhal area in District Rajouri.
Expressing deep shock and grief over the gruesome murder of a mother and her minor son in Rajouri, has termed the incident an eye-opener for the present dispensation in the State and vehemently demanded disbanding of Village Defense Committees (VDCs).
In a statement to KNS, he said that due to Govt. non – seriousness in a week thee civilians killed by VDC members in Rajouri. National conference already has demanded for the judicial probe into the killing of NC youth leader in Kalakote, but till date government take no sincere steps towards this issue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that instead of taking stern action against VDC members, Ministers of Mufti leg Coalition government giving such statements which encouraging VDC. In this regard recent statement of Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh statement is highly condemnable.
NC leader express his condolence with bereaved family and demand ex-gratia relief to the family members of deceased.
He demanded that immediately VDC members from Rajouiri be disbanded. (KNS)
