Baramulla April 30 (KNS): Amid Covid-19 lockdown restrictions across, Police on Thursday seized vehicle alongwith sizable quantity of illegal timber in Hillen Pehlipora of Boniyar Uri and arrested one person in this connection.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a police party led by SHO Boniyar Tariq Ahmad seized a vehicle bearing registration no. JK05G-5482 in Hillen Pehlipora of Boniyar Uri alongwith sizable quantity of timber which was illegally transported.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

During the action, police arrested one person and seized the vehicle. A case under FIR No. 25/2020 u/s 34 IPC 26 IFA was registered.

Police official said that there were four persons involved in the incident. He said that one person has been arrested while searches are on to trap the absconding perons. (KNS)
