He impressed upon Government of India to take immediate measures and steps to initiate dialogue with all stakeholders to resolve Kashmir issue.
“GoI should take concrete steps to initiate the dialogue process with all stakeholders including Hurriyat leaders. I believe that the separatist leaders respond positively to the dialogue process, Mir told KNS.

“Government of India may be under impression that the peace in Kashmir would itself return after the present ongoing unrest. That may be true, but GoI owns responsibility to resolve the issue for permanent peace in south Asia,” Mir said.
He said that a common man like labourer who lives from hand to mouth has been pushed to wall due to present unrest.
“A poor man is now dependent on the charity and relief provided by others to him, to survive,” he added. (KNS)
