Discuses prevailing situation in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): Union Home Secretary, Rajiv Mehrishi Tuesday called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti to discuss the prevailing situation in the Valley.
The Union Home Secretary held detailed deliberations with the Chief Minister over the law and order situation and the measures to be taken to ensure early return of peace and normalcy.
Meanwhile, Rajiv Mehrishi, Union Home Secretary also called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.
The Governor and the Home Secretary held extensive discussions about the security situation consequent to the recent terror attack at the Army Camp in Uri and about issues relating to the restoration of normalcy in the State.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, sources said that Director General of Police, K Rajendra, Chief Secretary, B R Sharma, state Home secretary, R K Goyal held separate meetings with Rajiv Mehrishi and discussed various issues pertaining to the prevailing situation in Kashmir. (KNS)
