Two civilians injured in Sopore grenade attack

Srinagar, Aug 13 (KNS): Two civilians were injured after militants hurled a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp at Main Chowk in Sopore area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Friday afternoon. 

An official told Kashmir News service(KNS), that the incident took place at Main Chowk in Sopore and the grenade exploded on the roadside, causing injuries to the two civilians. 

He identified the duo as Abdul Rashid dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar of watlab Sopore and Ghulam Mohd lone son of Abdul Samad of Baghi Sana Sopore. 

He said that the injured have been shifted Sub district hospital Sopore for treatment while security forces have launched a hunt to nab the militants. (KNS).
