Ganderbal, Mar 01 (KNS): In a tragic road accident, two brothers were killed when a tractor turned turtle at Sama Mohallah Shallabugh area of Ganderbal district on Tuesday.
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the tractor turned turtle near Shallabugh, resulting in injuries to driver and another person on board the tractor.
 
He said that the duo was immediately taken to PHC Pirpora for treatment, where from they were referred to district hospital Ganderbal. "However, on reaching the hospital they both succumbed to their injuries."
 
The deceased have identified as Sahil Ah Dar and Rameez Dar sons of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar of Shallabugh.
 
Meanwhile, in another road accident a minor boy was injured after Inova vehicle hit him on Srinagar-Leh highway near Hari Ganiwan area.
 
An official said that the injured, identified as Saqib Ahmad Chopan son of Mohammad Ramzan of Hariganiwan, was taken to SDH Kangan for treatment.
 
The official said that, police have registered a case in this regard and further investigation has been taken up. (KNS)
