Srinagar, July 12 (KNS): In a day dedicated to public health innovation and cultural enrichment, Party Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq joined Hon’ble Health Minister Sakina Itoo at JLNM Hospital for the launch of “Allergy Alert 2025” campaign and the release of the Asian Journal of Clinical Research & Practice.

Describing the event as a milestone in the region’s healthcare journey, Tanvir Sadiq lauded JLNM Hospital’s transformation into a vibrant hub of clinical excellence, research, and compassionate care. “It was heartening to witness JLNM’s remarkable growth. With allergies becoming an increasingly serious public health issue—especially in environmentally sensitive regions like Kashmir; its focus on early diagnosis, public education, and regional research is timely and visionary,” he stated.

He assured the hospital administration of his full support, announcing plans for the procurement of essential medical equipment and a financial contribution from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF). “Special attention will be given to upgrading the Allergy Department and addressing other pressing healthcare infrastructure needs,” he said.

Later in the day, Tanvir visited the Sufi Art Gallery in Gojwara, opposite Islamia College. “Each piece told a story, a narrative of Kashmir’s soul, its struggles, its resilience, and its beauty. My congratulations to Saika, the organiser, for creating such a powerful platform for local artists,” he remarked.

In his address at the gallery, he reaffirmed his commitment to cultural development, announcing his intention to take up the long-standing demand for a dedicated art exhibition hall in Srinagar with the Hon’ble Chief Minister. He also pledged to explore a suitable venue in his own constituency for future art and cultural events.
