Highlights Omar Abdullah-led Government’s Efforts in Strengthening Public Health; Local Art
Srinagar, July 12 (KNS): In a day dedicated to public health innovation and cultural enrichment, Party Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq joined Hon’ble Health Minister Sakina Itoo at JLNM Hospital for the launch of “Allergy Alert 2025” campaign and the release of the Asian Journal of Clinical Research & Practice.
Describing the event as a milestone in the region’s healthcare journey, Tanvir Sadiq lauded JLNM Hospital’s transformation into a vibrant hub of clinical excellence, research, and compassionate care. “It was heartening to witness JLNM’s remarkable growth. With allergies becoming an increasingly serious public health issue—especially in environmentally sensitive regions like Kashmir; its focus on early diagnosis, public education, and regional research is timely and visionary,” he stated.
He assured the hospital administration of his full support, announcing plans for the procurement of essential medical equipment and a financial contribution from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF). “Special attention will be given to upgrading the Allergy Department and addressing other pressing healthcare infrastructure needs,” he said.
Reflecting on the hospital’s proud 145-year legacy, Tanvir praised the dedication of its medical and support staff. “From humble beginnings to a beacon of hope for the community, JLNM Hospital is a testament to the tireless efforts of its doctors, nurses, paramedics, and staff, who serve the people of Kashmir with unwavering commitment.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
