Srinagar, 06 July (KNS) : On the solemn occasion of Youm-e-Ashura, Qaid-e-Sani Jenab Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib paid a heartfelt visit to the refreshment camp organized by the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference’s Zadibal unit at Alamgari Bazar, Hawal. The initiative was led by NC Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq.

Dr. Farooq Abdullah was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma and MLA Chanpora Mushtaq Guroo. The event marked a significant gesture of solidarity and public service on the observance of Youm-e-Ashura.

The presence of Omar Abdullah’s sons Zamir Abdullah and Zahir Abdullah added to the spirit of dedication, as they actively took part in distributing refreshments to the mourners and the general public.

The leadership reiterated the values of compassion, unity, and mutual respect that define the ethos of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly during the days of remembrance and mourning in Muharram.
