Srinagar, Nov 25 (KNS) : After week-long campaigning among the traders at Wazir Bagh / Gogji Bagh in Srinagar, Tahir Peerzada was elected as President of Bepor Mandal Wazir Bagh / Gogji Bagh on Thursday with an overwhelming majority.
Tahir Peerzada is a popular businessman and a philanthropist given his decades-long work against social evils and also for the upliftment of financially poor sections of the society in the area.His win came on expected lines.
The traders congratulated Tahir on his win and hoped he would be at the forefront in resolving the issues of the traders body.(KNS)
