Srinagar, Oct 16 (KNS): The Traffic Police Srinagar on Friday withdrew its earlier traffic advisory following the postponement of the “Paddle for Peace” event scheduled for October 18.

SSP Traffic City Srinagar Bisma Qazi confirmed that the event had been postponed and the traffic restrictions announced in connection with it would not be enforced.

“The Paddle for Peace event scheduled for 18.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel10.2026 has been postponed. Accordingly, the traffic advisory issued in connection with the event stands withdrawn, and the notified traffic restrictions shall not be imposed,” the SSP said in a statement.

The clarification comes after the Traffic Police had earlier issued an advisory outlining traffic arrangements for the scheduled event. (KNS)
