State Govt exists nowhere, affairs directly run by Delhi: Congress

“Un-elected legislators show disrespect to the franchisees”

Srinagar, Oct 16 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and former Minister, Abdul Gani Vakilon Sunday said the job of state government has remained restricted only to draw wages from public exchequer while the affairs of state are directly run by Delhi.
“State government doesn’t exist anywhere. Those who advocated ban on use of pellets as an opposition are unable to ban it in power. It speaks a lot of things. The fact is that the affairs of state are directly run by the Delhi,” Vakil told KNS.
He accused National Conference (NC) of introducing “dirty politics” in the Kashmir. “It was NC that sought votes on the name of plebiscite and autonomy. It exploited the people from time to time. This party is responsible for introducing dirty politics in the state,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Refuting the claims made by Muhammad Akbar Lone, former NC minister, wherein he had claimed that Vakil approached NC for joining the party, he said: “He is speaking rubbish. Does he have any proof to prove his claim?”
He said that the present regime is even politicizing the students and their education.
“The un-elected Ministers in present regime are expert in exploiting the students and their education for their own political gains. Thousands of students are protesting across Kashmir, demanding deferment of exams. The un-elected legislators are showing no respect for franchisees (Voters),” he said. (KNS)
