In view of recent spurt of attacks forthcoming 15th August 2015 and ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Suram Singh, SP Railways Jammu held security review visit from Jammu to Samba and adjoining area on 12.08.2015.
The SP Railways provided on spot instructions/guidelines to the jurisdictional officers for safety and security of both men and material at Railway Station Jammu, as the said vital installation is the most crowded Railway Station of the State where visitors/tourists/pilgrims/employees/general public throng in thousands on daily basis.
The officers were instructed to brief the Jawans/officers to provide all viable assistance to public especially for 15th August 2015 and ongoing Amar Nath Ji Yatries and be polite with public but firm with duties.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The jurisdictional officers were directed to brief the nafri under their control to remain available, visible and alert in their respective AOR, so that no nefarious elements may dare to sneak into the vicinity of Railways Jammu. It was also instructed that jawans may be briefed to be ready to retaliate any threat at anytime.
