Srinagar, Aug 29 (KNS): Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader, Prof. Saifuddin Soz on Monday condoled the demise of veteran congress leader, Muhammad Shafi Qureshi who passed away on yesterday in Delhi.
In a statement issued to KNS, Soz said, “I express my deepest anguish at the sad demise of Mohammad Shafi Qureshi, former Governor and Union Minister.”

“A mild-mannered politician was known for his gentlemanliness and his concern for human dignity and rights,” Soz said, adding that late Qureshi had befriended many people through his clear vision on things during his Governorship of Madhya Pradesh.
“My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family whose grief I share, in full measure,” he said. (KNS)
