Banihal, Oct 10 (KNS): National Conference District President Ramban Sajjad Shaheen on Monday expressed gratitude to Chief Justice of India, Justice T S Thakur for laying foundation stones and inaugurating various facilities in Ukhral including Munsif Court building, Community Hall at Batroo besides public park, saying these will go a long way in enhancing the quality of life of the people of the area.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shaheen hoped that work on the construction of building complex for the Government Degree College in Ukharhal, approved by the Omar Abdullah led government in 2014 will be taken up expeditiously so that the students of the entire area get benefitted.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe regretted the delay in making the college functional in a make shift arrangement as the posts for it had also been sanctioned by the previous government.
Shaheen said the purpose of sanctioning the college was to take higher education at the door-steps of the younger generation and place them in good stead to face the competitive world with confidence. He hoped that the facility will be created without further delay, as the students of the entire area are suffering on this account. (KNS)
