DFP delegation participates in funeral prayers of deceased

Srinagar, Feb 03 (KNS): The incarcerated Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah on Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of former President, Anjuman Islamiya, Abdul Haiy Khateeb.
Expressing condolence, Shah said the deceased was a person full of virtuous qualities and the void created by his demise is hard to fill.
"Abdul Haiy Khateeb was not only a religious and political personality but a also a firebrand orator. His contribution to freedom movement, as a political leader, will always be remembered," Shah said in a statement to KNS.
Shah said the deceased's son, Muhammad Hussain, is living a life of migration.
Paying tributes to deceased, Shah said Late Khateeb played a great role with regard to freedom movement in Chenab Valley, and "we equally share grief with the people of Chenab Valley particularly the Doda and Kishtwar, on this sad occasion".Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Shah also expressed condolence with the bereaved family and prayed for heavenly abode of Late Abdul Haiy Khateeb.
On Shabir Ahmad Shah's directions, a delegation led by DFP Jammu president, Moulana Abdul Qayoom l, which included Khurshid Ahmad and Ghulam Ahmad, participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased.
They also addressed the condolence gathering and conveyed condolence on behalf of Shabir Ahmad Shah. (KNS)
