Srinagar, Dec 20 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Tuesday condemned the re-arrest of ailing Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson, Syedah Aasiya Andrabi.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying that “the release and re-arrest of Aasiya Andrabi is a glaring example of Shiv Sena rule and police rule in Kashmir.”
He said that the “Aasiya Andrabi’s health condition is deteriorating while her son is also ill. Under such circumstances, despite the orders, the authorities continue to place her under detention, which is a glaring example of Human rights violation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
The Hizb chief appealed Human Rights Organizations to take notice of such HR violations.
While rejecting the Supreme Court (SC) verdict wherein its division bench has stated that “JK has no vestige of sovereignty outside the Constitution of India”, The Hizb chief said that “people of Kashmir don’t accept Indian union as well the Supreme Court and have not given any right to SC to decide the Jammu and Kashmir’s constitution.” (KNS)
