Srinagar, Mar 28(KNS): Ghulam Ahmad Tantray, the father of renowned trade union leader and editor-in-chief of Asian Mail, Rashid Rahil, passed away on Wednesday night after a prolonged illness.

The funeral prayer of the deceased will be offered today, Thursday morning, at 8:30 AM at the ancestral home located at Pandach, 90 feet road.

Meanwhile, all members of the Asian Mail staff express deep sorrow and condolences on the demise of Rashid Rahil's beloved father.

Different sections of people also expressed profound grief and condolences on the passing of Rashid Rahil's beloved father.

Editor in chief Kashmir News Service (KNS), Mohammad Aslam Bhat has condoled the demise of Rahil's father.

Bhat offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.(KNS)
