Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday met Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal and discussed issues regarding railways connectivity and projects in J&K.
In a series of tweets, Mehbooba said that Goyal assured her that the Katra-Banihal railway tracks will be completed by 2020.
Also the introduction of glass top coaches between Katra-Jammu and specially designed coaches between Banihal - Baramulla to promote tourism, was also agreed upon.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mehbooba also highlighted the need for cold storage rail containers for transporting apples to different parts of country. (KNS)
