Srinagar, Mar 09 (KNS): On the directions of SP Handwara Dr G. V Sandeep a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held on Monday at Police post Zachaldara, Handwara.
SDPO Handwara chaired the meeting in presence of SHO Handwara and In charge Divisional Officer (DO) Zachaldara a spokesperson said.
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen relations with public and also to establish the first-hand contact with masses.
The participants were also briefed about the precautionary measures of coronavirus (Covid19)

minor-latin">The participants in the meeting highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration especially the scarcity of drinking water, electricity and also raised their demand for Fire & Emergency Services in the area, a spokesperson said.
Further participants have been exhorted to remain away from drugs and co-operate with police in sharing all information’s related to social evils so that curative steps can be initiated
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SDPO Handwara assured them that the issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of participants in fighting social crimes.
