Srinagar, August 05 (KNS): Muslim League has said that police has arrested its four more members including district president Shopain Mufi Nadeem who is under police custody since from last 15 Days. They said Police also raided the house of Muslim League acting general secretary Abdul Ahad Parra.
Party spokesman, Mohammad Rafiq Ganai said in a statement said the Police raided the house of district president Kupwara, Mohammad Akram Najar in the midnight and arrested him. “Police also raided the house of Abdul Ahad Parra, however he was not there. Both the Muslim League leaders earlier participated in the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of Shaheed Tariq Ahmad Mir alias Zahid Arif son of Ghulam-ud-Din Mir R/o Adoora, whose body was recovered from Jhelum in Sumbal,” he said.
Muslim League spokesman said that police also arrested Molvi Sajad, Nisar Ahamd Wani of Sultanpora, Pattan and Khursheed Ahmad lone and Molve Sajad of Naidkhai, Sumbal.
Condemning the arrest of leaders and repeatedly raiding of the party’s acting general secretary, Abdul Ahad Parra, the spokesman said that the men in uniform have declared a war against the Muslim League.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that people are approving the Muslims League’s unambiguous stance over Kashmir dispute and the Sangh Parivar is frightened by the growing familiarity of Muslim League and its incarcerated chairman, Masarat Alam that is why it has managed the continuous detention of resistance icon, Masarat Alam and directed its agents to crush his followers.
He said that Muslim League leaders and activists have time and again defeated the Indian designs by their steadfastness so the present onslaught will also be fought with patience and persistence.
Muslim League spokesman expressed anguish over the day to day arrests of party leaders and workers. He said that India and its local agents have intensified their suppression against the freedom loving political activists.
Muslim League spokesman appealed the rights organizations to fulfill their professional obligations by highlighting the state of affairs in the Indian occupied Kashmir.
