Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNS): United Jihad Council (UJC) on Tuesday said that Oct 27 is “blackest day of Kashmir history as on this day in 1947 that Indian troops forcibly entered into Kashmir.”
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying that “October 27 is the blackest day in the history of J&K as it was on this day in 1947 that Indian troops forcibly entered into Kashmir.”
He said that “Kashmiris are against the illegal occupation of the India and are fighting against it from past 69 years.”
“India used it force to suppress the freedom struggle of Kashmiris during which 5 lakh people were martyred. The atrocities committed on Kashmiris by Indian forces are still on. Indian forces have crossed all the limits of cruelty and mercilessness,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While praising people for showing consistency in the ongoing movement, UJC chief said, “Nobody can defeat Kashmiri Nation, the day is not far when the Kashmiris will achieve their goal.”
Terming the Kashmir issue as ‘spark’, he said, “If the world will remain silent over the issue then it can prove dangerous for peace of whole world, for which India and world community will be held responsible.”
“Besides, supporting Kashmiris politically, diplomatically and morally, Pakistan should provide military assistance to Kashmiris as well as India is unable to hear the language of peace,” he appealed.
Meanwhile, as per the statement, the UJC will organize a demonstration on October 27 in Muzaffarabad in which Jihadi and political leaders will participate. (KNS)
