Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS): United Jihad Council (UJC) on Wednesday appealed people of Kashmir to observe Jan 26 as ‘black day’ to attract the world community towards the deteriorating situation of Kashmir.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted UJC chief, Syed Salah-ud-din said, “India has illegally occupied Kashmir in 1947 and are using brutal tactics to suppress the ongoing movement against this illegal occupation.”
He said that “in the seventy years, the India has killed over five lakh Kashmiris while properties worth millions were set ablaze and thousands of youth were disappeared and are buried in unknown graves.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
UJC chief said, “The hands Indian authorities are soaked with the blood of Kashmiris and at the same time celebrating its republic day is a joke on humanity and democracy.”
