Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNS): Harkat-Ul-Mujahideen, appealed people to observe January 26, as ‘black day’ to protest against the ‘reign of terror’ unleashed by India in Kashmir.
In a tele-statement to KNS, the spokesman, Hassan Askari, while quoting the outfit chief Moulana Sajad Shahid, as saying, “That India has suppressed basic human rights of Kashmiris and muzzled their aspirations. People of Kashmir want freedom from India”.
He said that, “People should observe 26-Jan as black day and held protest marches against the Indian repression in Kashmir.”
According to spokesman, from last 70 years Indian forces did several massacres and bloodbath in Kashmir in which, more than one lakh innocent people were killed and tortured.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said, “India has used pellets against the kids to blind them while many were arrested tortured, Such kinds of atrocities are not being carried in Kashmir only but India is suppressing its minorities in Indian states as well.” Adding that “People of India particularly Kashmiris have no moral obligation to observe Jan 26”.
The spokesman said that their armed struggle will remain continue until India did not vacate its occupation on Kashmir.
He later appealed International Human Rights Organizations to press India over ‘gross human rights violation in Kashmir’. (KNS)
