Kupwara, Apr 19 (KNS): The district administration in north Kashmir's Kupwara district Tuesday decided to not impose any restrictions on Wednesday.
Various parts of district remained under strict restrictions from past seven days after tense situation prevailed district.
The administration also said that educational institutions would also restore functions in a district on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Kumar Rajiv Ranjan told KNS that restrictions in the district that remained in force from past several days will be lifted on Wednesday. “There will be no restrictions in the district from Wednesday onwards,”

After six consecutive days, authorities relaxed curfew for three hours in Handwara town, Kupwara and Trehgam towns of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district while the relaxation in curfew was extended as the situation in the area remained peaceful.
All the shops, schools, government offices and other business establishments remained closed for the seven consecutive days following the imposition of curfew in the district due to the protests by locals over an alleged molestation of a minor girl by an army man while five civilians including a woman were killed during the subsequent protests in the area in past week.
