Navin Chowdhary interacts with FCIK delegation


Srinagar, November 28 (KNS): Federation of Commerce and Industries Kashmir (FCIK) today held a meeting with was held at meeting with Principal Secretary to Government agriculture/ horticulture / animal husbandry.
The delegation of unit holders lead by President of FCIK Shahid Kamili highlighted the issues confronting these sectors and the issues pertaining to food sector were presented by Isaq Chowdhary, while poultry was represented by Saddam Zaroo, spices related issue was presented by Syed Hamid.
Principal Secretary highlighted various incentives available with animal husbandry and agriculture; He emphasized unit holders to take maximum benefits of schemes in vogue. He also implored upon the proprietors of food park Lassipora to come up into productions within the shortest span of time and also develops a robust eco system in poultry, food processing and spice sector.
FCIK President applauded the efforts of department of Industries / Horticulture and Animal husbandry.
He expressed his views to develop a mechanism for maximum awareness of schemes among the prospective unit holders and a greater co-ordination between the various line departments, a statement issued to KNS reads.
President FCIK urged Principal Secretary to ensure rates of milk; poultry be determined by Animal Husbandry while taking stake holders on board.
The meeting was also attended by Director of Industries and commerce, Director of Agriculture, Director of Animal Husbandry , Director of Horticulture and other senior officers of the department.
FCIK admin council was headed by President, along with vice President Sheikh Nissar Ahmad, Secretary Daniyal Qurashi and publicity secretary Rafiq Ahmad.
Thanked the principal Secretary for giving a patient hearing and redressing the demands of the industry.(KNS)
