Srinagar, Jun 27 (KNS): Municipal employees working in Municipal committees and Municipal councils as casual labourers or on consolidated basis Tuesday called on Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir and apprised him about their demands, urging him to intervene.
Mir said that the Municipal employees were excluded from the policy adopted by the previous government for the causal labourers, daily wagers and consolidated workers, which is injustice with them.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The demands of the Municipal employees are genuine and should be fulfilled at an earliest,” Mir said, adding that “I appeal Governor N N Vohra to consider their demands and adopt a policy for the rehabilitation of these employees so that their sufferings will end.” (KNS)
