Srinagar, Feb 05 (KNS): J&K Congress President G.A. Mir has lashed out the prime minister of India Narendra Modi over the demonetization. Mir, sought clarification from the union government on implementation of demonetization.
Congress state president spokes today in a party function at SKICC Srinagar, in which Mir said that union government implemented the move without being discussed or approved by the RBI, which is the main stakeholder in demonetization process.
He said the Reserve Bank of India is a prestigious Institution and it was sidelined by the Prime Minister, by taking a unilateral decision with regard to demonetization.
While accusing the Prime Minister Narendra Modi over undermining and eroding the authority of RBI, which has sent a wrong signal not only in the country, but across the world, therefore Congress Party seeks clarity and answer five questions raised by Rahul Gandhi such as: How much black money has been unearthed since the 8th of November, 2016?Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWhat is the economic loss to the nation on account of demonetization? How many jobs and livelihoods have been lost since this policy has been announced? How many lives have been lost due to demonetization? Why were experts, economists or the RBI not consulted before unleashing this draconian policy upon the people? Will the government place the names of all persons, institutions, and entities that deposited Rs. 25 lakh or more in bank accounts in the six months preceding the 8thof November, 2016? (KNS)
