Srinagar, May 8 (KNS): In view of the prevailing situation in the Union Territory, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has nominated senior officers as mentors for various districts to strengthen administrative oversight and public service delivery. As per Government Order No. 572-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued by the General Administration Department, these officers will be responsible for guiding district administrations in relief, rescue, and rehabilitation operations, reviewing the security of vital installations, ensuring essential services and commodities, and coordinating with civil, police, army, and other agencies operating in the region.

The order, issued by the office of the Lieutenant Governor, mandates these officers to regularly visit their assigned districts, oversee ongoing operations, and address issues raised by the local administration in coordination with the Civil Secretariat.(KNS)
