Srinagar, Feb 29 (KNS): Municipal Committee Bandipora Saturday elected its new President and Vice-President.
The elections were held under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir.
Basharat Hussain Najar was elected unopposed as the president of the Municipal Committee Bandipora while Maqsood Ahmad Rather was elected as the Vice-President in a close contest.
The Elections were held in the conference hall of the Municipal Committee Bandipora under the supervision of ADC Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir and Executive Officer Municipal Committee Mushtaq Ahmad Mir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Later ADC Bandipora administered oath to the newly elected president and vice-president. He hoped that the new team will work for the development of the town. He urged the councillors to work in close coordination for the development of the town (KNS).
