Sopore, July 11 (KNS): Sopore police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler with 1080 grams of charas and sized a vehicle in choora area of sopore in north Kashmir.
A statement issued to KNS said today a police party of Police Post Putkha, while on routine naka checking duty at Choora, intercepted an ECCO vehicle bearing registration number JK09A 5435 and recovered 1080 grams of Charas from the vehicle, driver namely Mohammad Qasim Peer of Dragmulla Kupwara was arrested and vehicle also seized.

In this connection, Case FIR No. 65/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Tarzoo and investigation has been set into motion.
