Bandipora, Sept 10 (KNS): In a tragic incident, a government school teacher passed away in Bandipora on Wednesday after suffering a massive heart attack, leaving the local community and the education fraternity in deep shock.

The deceased has been identified as Qurat Ul Ain, who was serving as a teacher at Government Middle School, Sheikh Colony, Bandipora. According to family sources, she suddenly fell unconscious and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital; however, despite the best efforts of doctors, she could not be revived.

Qurat Ul Ain was the wife of Zahoor Ahmad (Sanie), a lecturer from Plan Bandipora, who is well known in academic circles. As the news of her passing spread, a pall of gloom descended over the area. Colleagues, students, neighbours, and relatives rushed to her residence to express their condolences and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family. Many described her as a dedicated teacher who always put her students first and was known for her humility and kindness.

Meanwhile, messages of condolence poured in from different quarters, with people praying for eternal peace to the departed soul and patience to the family in this hour of grief.
