Srinagar, Mar 5 (KNS),: Senior PDP Leader from Srinagar Asif Noor joined National Conference on Saturday along with scores of his supporters in the presence of NC Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani. Noor joined the party at a function at Mahjoor Nagar in Srinagar and was welcomed by Nasir Aslam Wani into the party fold in the presence of senior party workers and office bearers for Amira Kadal constituency.

“Asif Noor’s entry into the party is an indication of NC’s growing popularity not only in Srinagar but in the entire State. His work as a social and political activist is exemplary and his service to the people speaks louder than words. The NC Provincial President said there was a groundswell of support of favour of National Conference and the youth were yet again reposing their faith in the party’s vision of inclusive, youth-oriented politics of honour and dignity. “We do not believe in compromising on our ideology or our promises for the lure of power and the youth have realized that National Conference is the only political institution and movement which can salvage the State’s bartered honour and dignity”, the NC Provincial President added.
Speaking on this occasion, Asif Noor thanked the Party Leadership for welcoming him into the party and said he would leave no stone unturned to strengthen the party and would play an active role in fulfilling the vision of NC Working President Omar Abdullah. (KNS)
