Srinagar, Dec 26 (KNS): Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik along with JKLF leaders Vice Chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, Zonal President Noor Muhammad Kalwal, zonal general secretary Sheikh Abdul Rashid, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Nazir Ahmad Ratherand Ishfaq Hussain are still in police custody.
They were arrested day before on 25th Dec 2015 when they participated in a protest march against growing terrorism of VDC and other forces.
The rally was led by JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik.
All the detained leaders have been kept at Khoti Bagh police station.

The Jalsa was to be held on Sunday 27th Dec 2015 but as JKLF chairman mohammad Yasin Malik and many others leaders remain in police custody.
It is not possible to hold the Jalsa. New date for the proposed Jalsa will be announced later.
Meanwhile JKLF has strongly condemned the attack on Vice president of Jamiat Ahlihadis Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri by some miscreants at Qazigund.
Terming this as an attempt of spreading sectarian rift between Muslims; JKLF said that these kinds of gruesome attacks are not acceptable. (KNS)
