Markets witnessing huge rush

Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): Life returned to normal in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday. The district remained shut for four consecutive days against the killing of two students and a militant on Sunday.
Shops, business establishments, government and semi-government offices including coaching institutes reopened and transport plied on the roads.
Eye-witnesses told KNS that the day so far passed peacefully and markets are witnessing huge rush with people thronging to purchase essentials.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Two students, Mir Asif Farooq alias Danish Farooq and 22-year-old Shaista Hameed were killed in forces firing at civilians in Lelhar village and Kakapora town after the killing of a LeT militant, Adil Ahmad Wagay of Banderpora village in a brief encounter on Sunday.
The civilian killings evoked widespread condemnation and outrage. The government has also ordered a magisterial inquiry into the killings. (KNS)
