Joint Hurriyat call protests on Friday against attacks on Muslims in Kathua

‘Our communal harmony, brotherhood shouldn’t be mistaken as our weakness’

Srinagar, Jan 12 (KNS): Strongly condemning the attack on Muslims in Kuthua, joint resistance leadership has appealed people to stage peaceful protests after Friday prayers on 13th January 2017, as solidarity with the victims of vandalism and highhandedness of fascist forces in Jammu.
In a statement issued to KNS, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik said that these hapless Muslims are living under the stigma of fear psychosis for the last 70 years as their ancestors have been butchered mercilessly under the watchful eyes of the tallest traitor of this unfortunate land and since then they are brutalized, traumatized and throttled on one pretext or the other.
Leaders said that those raising throatful cries on the plight of Jammu Muslims, should introspect themselves to see the mutilated face of their past and at that time their humanity had lost every sheen to act as mute spectators of massacring more than 5 lakh Muslims, just for their craving for power.
Leaders said that these pro-Indian leaders always played the politics of death &destruction, in tune with their masters to pave their way through to the power corridors and build their castles on our rubble.
Leaders said that all of them climb to the chairs on our dead bodies and blaming each other as killers, is an ample proof that how can the house harbouring butchers of hundreds of innocents, be of any help in soothing the bleeding wounds of the victims.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThey said that shedding crocodile tears, to prove their innocence, can never conceal their cleavers soaked in our blood. Pro-freedom leaders said that Friday protests should convey a clear and loud message to the communal goons and their supporters that they should forget to see 2017 through the prism of 1947 and in case they even try to do so, it will be fought with iron hands.
Leaders said that whole populace of Jammu and Kashmir is a single entity and pain or turbulence anywhere will be felt everywhere.
Appealing the Muslim clerics, Imams and Khatibs throughout the state to highlight this grave issue, in their Fridaysermons, to fulfill their moral responsibility &uphold the sanctity and dignity of pious podium. Leaders said that our communal harmony and age old interfaith brotherhood should not be mistaken as our weakness as we can never tolerate any attempt on our existence& unity. They said that the yes-men of the oppressors must bow too low before them to ensure and prolong their ministerial berth and those blaming others for embracing these masters say that they too are following the same path, but they wickedly praise these killers as “Killer ji”. Leaders said that killers are killers and nobody on earth can change this narrative. (KNS)
