Srinagar, Oct 27 (KNS): Thousands of job aspirants who have appeared in written test for different post in Fire and Emergency Services department in 2013 are awaiting results from the last two years.
A delegation of the aspirants told KNS that the department conducted the tests in 2013, but the board has not declared the results even as almost three years have passed by.
They said that the department notified posts of Fire-man in 2013, and after one year the written test was held by the recruitment board. They said out of 67000 candidates who had applied for the posts, 1000 qualified for the tests.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“But, we are surprised at the delay in declaring results of the tests even though three years have passed. We suspect foul-play in delaying the results,” the aspirants told KNS.
They appealed the board to declare the results as early as possible. “The department is examining the issue, and we hope that some decision is taken soon so that the results are declared,” Director General Fire and Emergency Service, Er. R S Sodhi told KNS. (KNS)
