Salvation Movement Thursday strongly condemned continuous house detention of Party Chairman Zaffer Akber Bhat and other pro-freedom leaders from past week.
In a statement Party spokesman while condemning police action said, “In the holy month of Ramadan Indian security forces resorted to oppression and barred Hurriyat leadership from visiting the areas under mass contact program.”

“Apart from carrying out massacres in Kashmir for crushing the freedom struggle, Indian armed forces are curbing the movement of peaceful pro-freedom leaders but it can’t deter them from pursuing the goal of ongoing freedom struggle,” he claimed.
He also condemned house detention of veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Shabir Ahmad Shah and others.
