Srinagar, Dec 03 (KNS): Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir (Je) Saturday said an employee of fisheries department namely Assad-ullah Kumar resident of Qazigund has been shot dead by the Indian forces personnel in the village Chansar Kulgam where he was posted during the night hours. The people of the area heard gun shots during the cordon by these forces and after wards found the dead body of Assad-ullah trenched in the blood. In another such incident some days back, another person Sajjad Ahmad Malik of Batgund was killed by the forces in a fake encounter. It is evident that such inhuman acts are committed to terrorize the local populace in order to desist them from raising any voice against the state barbarism and atrocities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
In a statement issued to KNS, JeI while vehemently condemning this inhumane act of the government forces personnel extends its deep solidarity with the bereaved family and appeals the international human rights organizations to take appropriate action against the perpetrators of state terrorism against the hapless people.
Moreover a delegation of Jama’at led by Advocate Zahid Ali visited the bereaved family of Bashir Ahamd Lone of Nehama whose father expired a day before while undergoing treatment in SKIMS. The delegation paid rich tributes to the deceased and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. (KNS)
